The 2005-2006 award for Educational Institutions' Promotion and Performance of American Music goes to Texas Christian University, a privately supported university. TCU has entered and won this competition (in alternate years) several times. This university is outstanding in its presentation of American music. They have steadily increased their presentation of American music until they have a tremendous American repertoire in their programming. They annually celebrate American
