A well-known Israeli author used the 100th anniversary of the American Jewish Committee to tell American Jews repeatedly that they belong in Israel.

A.B. Yehoshua dominated Monday evening's panel discussion on "The Future of the Past: What Will Become of the Jewish People?" with a group of Jewish scholars and thinkers, insisting that one could fully be a Jew only by living in the Jewish state.
