ALS Registry Act Introduced in House by Rep. Engel

WASHINGTON, June 1 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, has introduced the ALS Registry Act (H.R. 2295), legislation that would "amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for the establishment of an Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Registry."
The bill, introduced on May 14, was co-sponsored by 83 representatives. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
