MANITOBA-RAISED Berkshire pork -- which sells for as much as $40 a pork chop in some restaurants -- will soon be gracing the tables of high-end Manhattan food retailers and eateries, says a Brandon-area farmer who brokered the deal.
Bruce Daum said meat from 125 Manitoba pigs a week will be shipped to the New York area, beginning June 1.
