ABSTRACT

This research, conducted in the United States and Finland, examined how high technology entrepreneurial firms ' social interactions with business incubator management impact the acquisition of business processes knowledge. It was hypothesized that the established social structure of the university-based business incubator positively impacts the firms' acquisition of business processes knowledge. Findings suggest that newly started firms gain significant benefits in business processes knowledge from the incubator manager and the social environment. In contrast, developed older firms ...
