I've got drag racing on the brain (still)

You don't aspire to work at National DRAGSTER without being a pretty big fan of drag racing, and you certainly don't work here for more than two decades without still being one, but lately I've had drag racing on the brain everywhere I go. Right now I'm chalking it up to sheer enthusiasm for the season ahead, but I may need further medical evaluation.

Take the other day. I'm humming along in my little GTO. I pop in a CD, and I'm greeted with Warren Zevon singing "Lawyers, Guns, and Money," but instead of thinking about the tragic passing in 2003 of a great songwriter, I'm remembering laughing ...
