Rep. Baird Introduces National Science Foundation Authorization Act
|
WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Rep. Brian Baird, D-Washington, has introduced the National Science Foundation Authorization Act of 2007 (H.R. 1867), legislation that would "authorize appropriations for fiscal years 2008, 2009, and 2010 for the National Science Foundation (NSF)."
The bill, introduced on April 17, was co-sponsored by Reps. Vernon J. Ehlers, R-Michigan; Bart Gordon, D-Tennessee; Darlene Hooley, D-Oregon; Brian Bilbray, R-California; Jerry McNerney, D-California; and Barron Hill, D-Indiana. It was referred to the House Science and Technology Committee.
