The University of South Carolina issued the following press release:

Writer Kaye Gibbons will speak at the University of South Carolina Thomas Cooper Society's annual dinner and reception Tuesday, April 24, at the Embassy Suites Hotel.

Tickets to the dinner are $45 per person and can be reserved by calling Maggie Bergmans at 803-777-3142. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m. and the reception will begin at 6 p.m.
