Christopher, Dana Reeve Paralysis Act Introduced in House by Rep. Baldwin

WASHINGTON, April 5 -- Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin, has introduced the Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act (H.R. 1727), legislation that would "enhance and further research into paralysis and to improve rehabilitation and the quality of life for persons living with paralysis and other physical disabilities."

The bill, introduced on March 28, was co-sponsored by Reps. Mary Bono, R-California; Jim Langevin, D-Rhode Island; and Michael Bilirakis, R-Florida. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
