Guwahati, Feb. 23 -- The perennial problem of flood and erosion caused by the mighty Brahmaputra has so far eluded a solution. The result has been that the menace continues to wreak havoc in the state year after year, damaging crops and property worth thousands of crores besides taking a toll of human lives as well.
