The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth issued the following news release:

The 2007 Adult Education and Training Conference kicked off yesterday at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids to focus on making sure that Michigan's adult learners are well prepared to achieve success in Michigan's transitioning economy.

"Reaching Out-Changing Lives" is the theme of the conference which reflects the purpose of adult education in Michigan. More than 500 adult education administrators, teachers, counselors, literacy council volunteers, and workforce developers will attend the ...
