Summary

Zen reflects an amalgam of Taoism and many Buddhist elements. NeoZen is functionally defined as Zen with minimal Buddhist terms, and is a psychological approach to Zen with constructivist underpinnings. The essence of NeoZen is a synthesis of East and West mentalities, aimed at a new spirit in the art of living after Y2K.
