Hermits first in N.J. history to finish undefeated, untied

Kevin Crowe scored the go-ahead goal with 2 minutes, 3 seconds left in the game to propel the Hermits to a 3-1 win over St. Peter's Prep in the state Non-Public title game at Mennen Sports Arena on Friday night. Ryan Mara scored into an empty net with 11 seconds left to clinch the victory.

St. Augustine (23-0) is the first team in New Jersey history to finish untied and unbeaten.

"It's exhilarating," Crowe said. "I still can't believe we're state champions. It was such a relief."
