Drug peddlers' gang busted

NEW DELHI, India, March 18 -- KANPUR POLICE claimed to have busted a gang of drug peddlers on Sunday morning. The police team arrested four gang members and recovered 11 kg of charas from their possession.
The arrests were possible after Special Operation Group incharge SK Singh received a tip-off. The SOG incharge was informed that drug peddlers were on way to Beconganj for sale of their consignment. The SOG, in coordination with the Beconganj and Rail Bazaar police, laid a trap near the COD gate, where they intercepted the drug peddlers and arrested four gang members.
