Technip (Paris, France) reports that it has successfully completed the world's first open-sea catamaran floatover topsides installation on the deep-water Kikeh Spar, on behalf of Murphy Sabah Oil Co. Ltd. (Houston, Texas) and their partner Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), for the Kikeh field development offshore Malaysia.
