Over the past two decades, Geraldine de Haas and Jazz Unites has been providing a memorial tribute to African American vocalists Marion Anderson and Mahalia Jackson. This year's celebration is scheduled for Feb. 11 at the Harris Theatre, 205 E. Randolph Dr., in Millennium Park, at 4 p.m.

WGN-TV Ch. 9's Merri Dee will serve as hostess and vignette narrator on the experiences of these two internationally famous artists. Younger musicians will provide memorial tributes to the twd artists ...
