Susan B. Anthony Birthday Act Introduced in House by Rep. Maloney

WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, D-New York, has introduced the Susan B. Anthony Birthday Act (H.R. 856), legislation that would "honor Susan B. Anthony by celebrating her legacy on the third Monday in February."

The bill, introduced on Feb. 6, was co-sponsored by Reps. Lois Capps, D-California, and Yvette Clarke, D-New York. It was referred to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
