Cesar Estrada Chavez Study Act Introduced in Senate by Sen. McCain

WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 -- Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, has introduced the Cesar Estrada Chavez Study Act (S. 327), legislation that would "authorize the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study of sites associated with the life of Cesar Estrada Chavez and the farm labor movement."
The bill, introduced on Jan. 17, was co-sponsored by Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colorado. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
