Sen. Graham Introduces Brigadier General Francis Marion Memorial Act

WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, has introduced the Brigadier General Francis Marion Memorial Act of 2007 (S. 312), legislation that would "authorize the Marion Park Project and Committee of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation to establish a commemorative work on federal land in the District of Columbia and its environs to honor Brigadier General Francis Marion."

The bill, introduced on Jan. 17, was co-sponsored by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-South Carolina. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
