Green Bay Packaging, Inc. upgrades Fremont facility
|
The Fremont Division of Green Bay Packaging, a manufacturer of corrugated shipping cartons, is currently planning to upgrade the technology of a key section of its production equipment. The $2.6 million project will retain 135 jobs.
The Fremont Division specializes in large carton production. Its full converting and production capabilities include a 98" corrugator and a 75" x 185" jumbo printing press. Some major customers include Whirlpool, US Gypsum, Pepperidge Farm, and American Standard.
