Rep. Granger Introduces Idling Reduction Tax Credit Act

WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, has introduced the Idling Reduction Tax Credit Act of 2007 (H.R. 139), legislation that would "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit for the purchase of idling reduction systems for diesel-powered on-highways vehicles."

The bill, introduced on Jan. 4, was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
