CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY STANISLAUS PRESIDENT APPOINTED TO NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION DIVISION II PRESIDENTS COUNCIL

California State University Stanislaus issued the following press release:
California State University, Stanislaus President Hamid Shirvani has been appointed to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Presidents Council.
Effective in April 2007, President Shirvani will represent Region 4 on the 16-member Presidents Council which meets regularly to rule on national and regional budgetary, compliance, conference alignment, and membership issues.
