On the surface or underground, monitor systems bore closer to the goal of high-performance, one-touch drilling with minimal operator input

Drill monitoring equipment is becoming a "must have" feature on many new surface and underground rigs as well as a popular modification for many older models that allow retrofitting. It's an important capability from several perspectives.
