PORTS OF INDIANA NAMES NEW DIRECTOR FOR JEFFERSONVILLE PORT

The Ports of Indiana issued the following news release:

The Ports of Indiana has named Brian Nutter as director of the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville. Nutter has served as the executive director for the Maine Port Authority since 1997, and he will begin his new job in Jeffersonville on Jan. 22.

The Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville has been one of the fastest growing ports in the country, adding 20 new tenant companies since 1993. In 2006, the port handled more than 1.9 million tons of cargo, its highest total since opening in 1985.
