CITY OF GRAND ISLAND WORKING IN CONJUNCTION WITH RESIDENTS TO RECOVER FROM RECENT ICE STORM

The city of Grand Island issued the following news release:

Along with that natural beauty of the coat of ice still seen on several trees branches, has also came destruction to numerous trees throughout Grand Island from the recent ice storms on December 20, 30 and 31. Several City of Grand Island departments are working together to rid Grand Island of the mark the recent ice storms have left on the city streets and the yards of citizens.

The City of Grand Island Public Works Department began assisting residents in clean up efforts from the first storm on December 21 and started clean up ...
