Maryland Inventor Develops Injection Locked Dual Opto-Electronic Oscillator

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 20 -- Weimin Zhou of Rockville, Md., has developed an injection locked dual opto-electronic oscillator (OEO).

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to an "injection locked dual opto-electronic oscillator having a master oscillator which generates a high quality (Q) radio frequency (RF) output signal with a plurality of harmonic signals within a predetermined pass band.
