BOOK SIGNING TO FEATURE USS BOWFIN, USS GUDGEON

Navy Region Hawaii issued the following news release:
USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park will host a book signing today, featuring two World War II books.
Dr. Robert Beynon wrote "USS Bowfin: Pearl Harbor Avenger." Beynon is a World War II USS Bowfin (SS 287) crew member and served aboard her during her seventh, eighth and ninth war patrols. He recounts the history of Bowfin through other Bowfin shipmates, as well as himself.
Author Mike Ostlund's book is "Find 'Em, Chase 'Em, Sink 'Em: The Mysterious Loss of the WWII Submarine USS Gudgeon." The book takes readers through the war career and ...
