Northern Automotive closing La Crosse plant

Northern Automotive Systems, LLC plans to close its plant at 2325 Enterprise Ave. in La Crosse in June, which it estimates will eliminate about 140 jobs.

But its affiliate company, Northern Engraving Corp., has reversed its previously announced decision to close the Northern Engraving plant in Galesville, Wis. That company had announced in January that it planned to permanently close the Galesville plant this spring, which it estimated would eliminate about 129 jobs.
