Two new species of Berlinia (Leguminosae-Caesalpinioideae: Detarieae)

Summary. Berlinia phenacoa Mackinder from Congo (Brazzaville) and Congo (Kinshasa) and Berlinia rabiensis Mackinder from Gabon are described as new.

Whilst preparing a taxonomic synopsis of the African legume genus Berlinia (Leguminosae: Caesalpinioideae) (Mackinder & Harris, in press), two undescribed species were discovered.
