WEEKEND STORM DAMAGE AT FORT LEONARD WOOD

Fort Leonard Wood issued the following news release:

Storms from 7 p.m. Saturday night through 1 a.m. Sunday morning and again throughout the day and into the evening caused significant damage installation wide at Fort Leonard Wood. Government property and equipment, as well as privately owned equipment was severely damaged, due to "straight line winds, and baseball sized hail," as described by the National Weather Service.
