FOREWORD: CONTRIBUTIONS TO APPLIED LANDSCAPE ECOLOGY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Among the Czech university-level structures there are two laboratories focused on the selected aspects of applied landscape ecology - the Applied Ecology Laboratory in Ceské Budejovice and the Laboratory of Landscape Ecology at Kostelec nad Cernými lesy. Both laboratories have a strong cooperative and complementing arrangement.
