FORT LEONARD WOOD FIRE DEPARTMENT RECEIVES LIFE SAFETY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Fort Leonard Wood issued the following news release:

On October 1, 2006, the Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department was presented the Life Safety Achievement Award for the year 2005 by the Residential Fire safety Institute (RSFI). The award was announced by Roy L. Marshall, Director of the RFSI.

For 13 years the Life Safety Achievement Award has recognized the local fire prevention activities that contributed to reducing the number of lives lost in residential fires. The Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department qualified for this award in the year 2005 because it, once again, recorded zero fire deaths ...
