The office of the President issued the following news release:

At the invitation of the President of the Republic, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh will pay a State Visit to Estonia from 19th to 20th of October.

Her Majesty's State Visit is an event of historical importance - it is the first visit by a British monarch to Estonia. The visit underlines the existence of longstanding and close relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Estonia, a cornerstone of which was laid already in the days of the Estonian War of Independence, when fighting together.
