DELAWARE STATE UNIVERSITY SWEARS IN THREE NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEMBERS

The Delaware State University issued the following news release:

The Delaware State University Board of Trustees today swore in two recent appointees by Gov. Ruth Ann Minner - Dr. Calvin T. Wilson II, a Dover-based physician and Bennie Smith, chairman and owner of Bennie Smith Funeral Homes.

The board also swore in Wilmington-based attorney Charles S. McDowell to fill one of the two vacant board-appointed seats.

Dr. Wilson and Mr. Smith have been appointed to fill the recently expired terms of former board member Michael Parkowski and Dr. Jessie Williamson. Both governors appointees, Mr. ...
