COLKER TO LECTURE ON 'MODERN ARTS OF THE BOOK'

Vanderbilt University issued the following news release:

Ed Colker, a noted print-maker and book publisher, will address "Modern Arts of the Book," at 4:10 pm. on Jan. 16 in 114 Furman Hall. A reception will follow his illustrated lecture, which will cover many of the major art movements of the 20th century.

A former provost of both the Pratt Institute and Cooper Union in New York City, Colker is an expert on continental printing and the production of limited editions of illustrated works of literature. He spent two years in France while on a Guggenheim fellowship befriending and studying ...
