The First International Carl Orff Singing Competition to be held June 10-12, 1997

The Carl Orff Foundation and the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts are inaugurating the First International Carl Orff Singing Competition in Munich, Germany, on June 10-12, 1997.
The competition is open to soprano, tenor and baritone singers of all nationalities who were born after June 10, 1963. Two rounds of trials will be held. The first trial should not exceed fifteen minutes. Contestants may sing in whatever order they wish, but all pieces must appear on the list of their repertoire.
Pieces sung in both rounds of the trials must be selected from the repertoire list in the competition ...
