San Cristobal On Track for 2007 Start

Apex Silver reports that construction at its San Cristobal silver-zinc-lead project in the Potosí district of Bolivia is more than 40% complete and remains on schedule for a production start during the second half 2007. At full production, San Cristobal will be one of the world's largest producers of each of the three metals in its ores-22.3 million oz/y of silver, 182,500 mt/y of zinc, and 85,000 mt/y of lead. Mill throughput at is planned at 40,000 mt/d.
