THREE top-rated Filipino Jai-alai players will compete in the 15th world pelota championship called Campeonato Mundial del Pelota Vasca slated September 13 to 16 in Acapulco, Mexico.

They are Charlie Medrano, Carlo Buenavente and Alex Singca, president of the Federacion Vasca Pelota de Filipinas, which is promoting jai-alai as an amateur sport here.
