KLAMATH/TRINITY RIVER BASIN SALMON RECREATIONAL SEASONS AND SIZE RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE AUG. 15

The California Department of Fish and Game issued the following press release:
This year's regulations prohibiting the recreational retention of Klamath River Fall Chinook salmon over 22 inches total length will take effect on Aug. 15. The regulations were recommended by the Pacific Fishery Management Council and approved by the California Fish and Game Commission. General area closures and gear restrictions are the same as last year. Anadromous waters of the Klamath River Basin are closed to fishing all year, except those listed below:
