Value of minerals produced in New South Wales' show significant increases

During the past two years, the mining industry in New South Wales, Australia has posted some significant increases in minerals production and value, according to the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries.

In 2004-2005, the value of mineral production increased more than 35 percent to A$9.2 billion. And the agency expects that to increase to more than A$10 billion in 2006.
