NWFP firm to resolve govt's writ in Waziristan

Peshawar, July 23 -- NWFP Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai has said that the provincial government was firmly resolved to bring peace to FATA and especially Waziristan.

He urged the delegates of the 45 member grand tribal jirga that met him, to make an all out effort to bring peace to Waziristan. He said the tribal elders must join hands with the government to restore peace in the volatile agency.
