A philately exhibition on World Heritage Train held in Siliguri

Siliguri, June 11 -- On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of World Heritage Train, the Siliguri Philately Society along with Sikkim Philately Society organised a mobile philately exhibition and a workshop here.
The exhibition through stamps and workshop were held to popularise Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), which began chugging since 1881.
More than 300 stamps on the history of the train were displayed in the mobile exhibition, to create awareness and interest among people, travelling on the train in philately.
The exhibition attracted many tourists along with a lot of local people ...
