STEAMING INTO HISTORY: CUMBRES & TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD CELEBRATES 125 YEARS

The New Mexico Department of Tourism issued the following news release:
With a piercing whistle and a mighty puff of steam, the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad proudly begins its 125th anniversary season on Saturday, May 27. The Cumbres & Toltec is a historic gem, owned by the people of Colorado and New Mexico. It runs through unspoiled wilderness between Chama, New Mexico and Antonito, Colorado, part of its original route.
