Aventine and Aurora ready to ink deal for new ethanol plant

Aventine Renewable Energy and Aurora Cooperative are in the final stages of sealing a partnership to build a new ethanol plant outside of Aurora, Nebraska last week. The planned 220 millions of gallons per year plant will be built in two phases, starting with a facility that will produce nearly half of the expected total production.

The site of the planned construction is near an existing, smaller 50 million gallon per year ethanol plant of which Aventine is the majority owner.
