UNDERSTANDING MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTIONS FOR WOMEN

Researchers are increasingly documenting the ways that lifelong, gender-related social and health inequalities can create and perpetuate mental health difficulties for Aboriginal senior women. One long-standing example is the over-prescription of benzodiazepines to older Aboriginal women.
