Sir Peter Moores is the founder and powerhouse behind the Foundation that bears his name. He set up the PMF in 1964, when still a young man, to support, encourage, create access to and sustain music, opera and the visual arts, along with health, youth, social and environmental projects through education. Because of his imaginative initiatives and life-long commitment to these causes, he has disbursed more than £104.5 million through the charities he has founded.
