Regional Dance America tracks its success back 50 years.

Attendees at the five Regional Dance America festivals this year have an extra reason to celebrate: The 2006 Southeast festival, to be hosted by the Appalachian Ballet Company in Knoxville, Tennessee, April 19-22, marks the 50th anniversary of RDA, and the beginning of a year-long celebration that will conclude at the second National Dance Festival in April 2007 in Pittsburgh.
