ECOPHYSIOLOGICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FIR (Abies alba Mill.) PLANTS ON DEPENDENCE OF LIGHT CONDITION CHANGES

Abstract
The structure and function of trees assimilatory apparatus is not fixed during their ontogeny, but significantly respond to changing light quantity and quality. There were studied the differences between fir (Abies alba Mill.) plants, which were grown under full sun and shade conditions. The influence of light condition changes was documented on selected photosynthetic and productional characteristics of fir needles.
