Pitlochry, normally bustling with people, was uncharacteristically
empty. Only a handful of brave souls braved the lashing rain, their
golf umbrellas adding a touch of colour to a dismal, monochrome
scene.
The forecast had almost made me stay at home, but I can think of
fewer things worse than a Saturday spent indoors so I went to the
north Perthshire town to walk some of its 41 miles of low level
tracks and paths, one of the finest networks in the country.
