Can this be? Paris without prostitutes? This is like Washington without the Monument. It's unexpected.

But it's true. Mayor Jacques Chirac's Operation Health Bois de Boulogne has rid the capital's largest park of a key tourist attraction, the 500 or so mostly transvestite prostitutes who worked there.
